Google Shopping, Ads & Analytics for WooCommerce

See which marketing actually creates sales, then invest where it pays.

Search visibility and advertising are only useful when they bring in customers. Too many online shops run Google Ads and Shopping campaigns without knowing which clicks turn into orders, or whether the tracking can be trusted at all.

Digital Flair sets up Google Merchant Center, Google Ads, Tag Manager and GA4 e-commerce tracking properly, improves your organic search visibility, and sends you a clear performance dashboard every week. Every recommendation is based on evidence, not activity for its own sake.

Because we also build and support WooCommerce shops, we can fix the website, the tracking and the campaigns together, rather than passing problems between suppliers.

Start with the commercial question

More traffic is not automatically better traffic

A page can rank well and attract visitors without producing enquiries or sales. A paid campaign can report clicks and conversions while adding little beyond demand the business already captures organically.

We look beyond headline numbers. Which searches bring the right people? Which pages help them buy? Which products create value, and what additional opportunity genuinely exists? Common signs you need better insight:

  • Reports show traffic but not whether it creates sales.
  • Google Analytics and WooCommerce show different sales figures.
  • Products are disapproved or missing in Google Shopping.
  • Advertising is running without a confident view of the return.
  • Decisions rely on snapshots rather than understandable trends.

A clear picture of your shop, every week

Every client receives a Digital Flair performance dashboard, customised to their business and delivered by email each week. It answers the questions that matter: how many people visited, how many bought, where the sales came from and which products are performing.

Changes against the previous period are shown alongside every figure, so trends are obvious at a glance. You get clear insight without having to maintain the reporting yourself.

Paid search should earn its place

We don’t recommend Google Ads simply because it is available

If your business already ranks strongly for important searches, advertising against the same demand may not be the best first investment. Paid search is most valuable for new products, competitive gaps, high-intent searches and time-sensitive campaigns.

Where Google Ads and Shopping are right for you, we focus on clear targeting, accurate measurement and regular commercial review.

Ways we can help

FAQs

Google Ads, Shopping and analytics: common questions

Not sure what your marketing is earning?

Speak directly to a technical lead.

Why don’t my Google Analytics sales match WooCommerce?

Usually because the e-commerce tracking is incomplete, duplicated or blocked before it records the purchase. We set up and test the tracking against your real WooCommerce orders, so the figures you base decisions on can be trusted.

Do I need Google Tag Manager and GA4?

For an online shop, yes. Together they record what visitors do, from viewing a product to completing a purchase, and pass that information to Google Ads so campaigns can be judged on real sales.

What is Google Merchant Center and do I need it?

Merchant Center is where Google receives your product information. You need it to appear in Google Shopping, both in the free listings and in Shopping ads. We set it up, connect your product feed and keep it healthy.

Why are my products disapproved in Google Shopping?

Common causes are missing product information, price or stock mismatches between the feed and your website, and policy issues. We find the cause, fix the feed or the website, and request a review.

Can you track visitors from ChatGPT and other AI assistants?

Yes. AI assistants are already sending customers to online shops. We separate that traffic in your reports, so you can see how many visitors and sales it brings.

What does the weekly dashboard include?

Visitors, sales and revenue against the previous period, revenue by traffic source, the journey from product view to purchase, top products, and device and country trends. Each dashboard is customised to the business and delivered by email every week.

Should we be running Google Ads at all?

Not always. If you already rank well for your most valuable searches, advertising may pay for sales you would get anyway. We look at your visibility, margins and tracking first, and recommend Google Ads only where it is likely to add profitable sales.

Do you work with businesses across the UK?

Yes. We work with online shops and businesses throughout the UK, remotely, with a direct line to your technical lead.

Do you know which marketing actually creates sales?

Tell us what you currently measure, where performance feels unclear and what you would like to improve. We will help you find a sensible next step.
